Make an offer

How Make an Offer works

Some pieces invite a conversation. If the asking price is close but not quite right, a signed-in member can name a price and let a person on the crew answer.

What an offer is

Make an Offer lets a signed-in member propose a price below the asking price for an eligible product in our own shop. It is a request, not a purchase. Sending an offer does not charge you, complete a sale, or hold the piece.

If you are ready to pay the asking price, use the cart. No offer is needed.

Make one in three steps

Step 1

Find the piece

Open an eligible product and find the Make an offer block on its page.

Step 2

Sign in and name a price

Sign in, enter a price below the asking price, and send it. You can add a short note about the piece or the price. Keep links and contact details out of the note because the answer stays in your portal.

Step 3

Watch My Offers

The offer and the crew answer live under My Offers in your portal. A waiting offer can be withdrawn there.

What happens next

A person on the crew reads every offer and answers in your portal. We may accept your figure, reply with a counter, or pass. If we pass, the piece stays at its asking price.

If no answer lands within 7 days of your offer, the offer closes. You can then make a new offer from the product page.

If your offer is accepted

Acceptance gives you a single-use code tied to that one product and limited to one item. The code is live for exactly 48 hours. Use it at checkout before it expires.

The code carries the agreed discount off the asking price recorded when you offered. If the listed price changes before you check out, your checkout price changes with it. The code does not hold the piece, and the first completed checkout takes it.

Offers are for the item price only. Shipping and the listing terms stay exactly as listed.

Where offers are not open

  • Far Shore pre-orders are excluded.
  • The Verdant Vale eGift Card is excluded.
  • A product that has sold cannot take a new offer.

The plain rule is the block itself: if a product page has no Make an offer block, offers are not open on that piece.

Questions, answered plainly

Do I need an account?

Yes. Offers are open to signed-in members, and the answer comes back in My Offers in your member portal. If you are not signed in, the product page shows a sign-in prompt in place of the offer form.

Does making an offer hold the piece?

No. An offer does not reserve the product, start a purchase, or take it off the shelf. The first completed checkout takes the piece, even if an offer on it was accepted.

What happens if the crew counters?

The counter figure waits in My Offers. You can take it or withdraw the offer. If you take the counter, a single-use code issues at that figure and its 48 hours start then. A counter is part of the same offer, so it closes if the offer reaches its seven-day deadline first.

Can I change or withdraw an offer?

You can withdraw a waiting or countered offer in My Offers. Once it is withdrawn, you can send a new figure from the product page. Only one offer per member can be active on a product at a time.

Why does a product have no offer block?

Offers are not open on Far Shore pre-orders or the Verdant Vale eGift Card. A product that has sold also has no live offer block. If a product page has no Make an offer block, offers are not open on that piece.

What if I want to pay the asking price?

Use the cart. An offer is for a price below the asking price, so meeting the asking price needs no negotiation.
