How it works
Buy it. Pick an amount on the purchase page and check out like anything else in the Vale.
They get it by email. The card arrives as an email with its own code. Forward it, print it, or tuck it into a birthday card.
They spend it at checkout. The code goes in at checkout on verdantvale.org and comes off the total like cash. Whatever they don't spend stays on the card for the next shelf, and the balance is never a guessing game: apply the code at checkout and the page shows exactly what is left on the card before a dollar is paid.
Buying for someone who collects something specific? Pair the card with a note about their favorite shelf. Half the fun of the Vale is the hunt, and a gift card spends on every shelf in it.
