The Dino Books Are Live
October 16, 2026 · by the Keeper of the Vale
Two of ours made it onto Amazon this week, and the Vale is a little prouder than usual.
Dino Village: Ten Cozy Bedtime Stories for Kids Ages 3-8 is the gentle one, ten short stories set in a small dinosaur village where the problems are small, the friends are kind, and every story lands soft enough for the last five minutes before sleep. It was made for reading aloud, one story a night.
Would You Rather? Dino Edition is the rowdy one: 120 silly questions for kids ages 6–12 (would you rather ride a Triceratops or race a Velociraptor?), and every question comes with a real dinosaur fact, so the laughing smuggles in some learning. It is built for car rides, waiting rooms, and dinner tables that need rescuing.
Both are $3.99 on Kindle, and both are in Kindle Unlimited, so if your house runs on KU they are already yours to borrow. They carry the golden tree and the Verdant Vale LLC name, same as everything on our shelves, dreamed up around our family table, checked page by page before they ever reached yours.
And since a village is never finished: a third Dino Village book, Snowy Nights, is through its own checks and waiting in the wings. The valley’s first gentle snow. It will find its way to the shelf soon.
